My love of photography began at an early age after receiving a camera as a Xmas gift however it wasn’t something I ever really pursued with much vigor until I went to Art School. That first time you see magic happen when you put the blank paper in the developer and then whoosh presto! 30 seconds later an image appears! It was like nothing else I’d ever seen before!!! This immediacy of the image captivated me straight away – capturing light on film. Developing your films by hand and then hand printing them in the darkroom was something else. A totally organic process and pure as photography can get. | |
