Going through the Parish archives, one can come to know that the seed of our plan for a new school in Kialla was planted during the time of Monsignor Frank Hickey. With the acquisition of a block of land in Raftery Road, initial efforts then suffered a setback when the same block of land was not approved by the City Council for an educational facility as it is in a flood-prone area. | |
