I also com­plet­ed a Mater­nal and New­born Health Fel­low­ship that pro­vid­ed addi­tion­al expe­ri­ence in obstet­rics, includ­ing pre­na­tal care, point-of-care ultra­sounds, labor and deliv­ery man­age­ment, vagi­nal and c‑section deliv­er­ies, and post­par­tum care. The joy of prac­tic­ing obstet­rics and fam­i­ly med­i­cine is that I get the priv­i­lege of car­ing for some­one dur­ing their preg­nan­cy and both the moth­er and the grow­ing fam­i­ly after birth.
